The Contract EconomyAnswer the Call
The overlord's horde

Every player holds a keep, and every keep faces the overlord's waves. But no one defends alone. Post a contract with a bounty and a real player fights on your walls while you sleep; take a contract yourself and ride out as a hired blade on someone else's keep. Client and contractor split the spoils. Build, hire, fight, get paid.

Take the Contract

Clients post bounties on incoming warbands. Pick a job from the board, scout the keep, and deploy.

Fight as a Merc

Towers stall the horde; your hero does the killing. Position well, dodge the telegraphs, cash the bounty.

Restore the Citadel

Your fortress fell to the overlord. Rebuild it stone by stone. Every gatehouse and tower is real defense, not decoration.

Prepare for War

Carve the land, funnel the horde, stock your battle supplies. The keep you shape is the battlefield they bleed on.

Before you askFAQ
What is Merc Wrath?

Merc Wrath is an async co-op tower defense game. Every player builds and restores a keep that faces PvE waves, and every player also fights as a mercenary hero on other players' keeps under contract. Client and contractor split the bounty.

When does it release, and on what platforms?

Merc Wrath is in development for iOS and Android. Release dates, beta tests, and early access calls are announced on the official Discord first.

Is Merc Wrath free to play?

Yes. Merc Wrath is free to download and play. Optional purchases are cosmetics and convenience; power is earned by playing.

Do I fight on my own base?

No, and that is the point. Your towers hold your keep, but active hero combat only happens when you take a contract on someone else's keep. When your keep is attacked, another player can fight for you.

How do I join the beta?

Join the Discord. Beta invites, test builds, and dev updates are posted there before anywhere else.

Stay up to date

The Discord is where the company musters: dev updates, contract events, and early beta calls land there first.
